Requirements:

  •     Knowledge of minor plumbing, electrical, and carpentry skills.
  •     Able to maintain lawn/landscaping.
  •     Good time management and organizational skills.
  •     Social skills; you’ll be working around tenants.

This is a great part-time position for someone who is looking for just a few hours per week; minimum of 4 and max of 10.

Substitute Meals on Wheels Delivery Drivers

The Town of Voluntown is seeking substitute Meals on Wheels delivery driver. This position is an as needed position to deliver meals to Voluntown residents who are signed up for the Meals on Wheels program when the regular driver is unable. Meals are picked up at the Griswold Senior Center at about 10:10AM. A list of addresses is provided. Depending on number of deliveries, the run is usually done by 1:00pm at the latest. Cooler and paperwork must be returned to the Griswold Senior Center at the end of the run. To apply fill out the Town of Voluntown job application at the link above. Current shifts are Monday – Friday 0630-1630 hours with some weekends and night shifts available as needed.
